CNG stands for Compressed Natural Gas. It is normally a gas is a mixer of hydrocarbons mainly Methane. It is used as an alternate fuel for vehicle.

It is harmless. The properties of CNG make it a safe fuel. It is lighter than all other gases, so in case of a leakage it goes up and disperses into the atmosphere. CNG emits less carbon dioxide and other pollutants as compared to liquid fuels. It leads to less air pollution. There is a large resource of natural gas available in country thus reducing import bill of crude oil which is helping economy of the country.

We can run our vehicle on both the mode petrol as well as cng simply by switching the mode through change over switch. It is advisable to carryout changeover operation in standby mode of vehicle.

It is economic. It is zero maintenance fuel as it required only nominal gas tuning. It reduces running cost of the vehicle as its prices are lower than other fuels like petrol, diesel and LPG.
